Lisa Schulte (American) is a Los Angeles-based artist whose diverse practice includes sculpture and installation, with predominant focus on neon. Her portfolio includes neon sculpture reminiscent of 1960s spirograph drawings as well as her preternatural love for eighties disco. Her works are poignant for the fact that they elegantly fuse these passions within an organic and conceptually striking capacity. She has been exhibited in many galleries across the United States, including museum exhibits and commissioned work for the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Born in Long Island, New York. Currently lives and works in Los Angeles. SELECTED EXHIBITIONS 2015 Art Angels Gallery, West Hollywood, CA Art Project Paia, Maui, HI (Group) South Bay Contemporary Gallery, San Pedro, CA.
