Gloria Esbert is a multi-media artist from Menorca, Spain. She studied jewelry and bijouterie at the Escola d'Arts i Oficis de Maó, in which she had the opportunity to learn all types of painting and modeling techniques, but with the passage of time, she has learned by chance, experimenting, playing, and transforming diary paper into model figures.Paper is an organic material that unfolds over time, allowing figures to have a life of their own. Esbert does not look for smooth or polished surfaces, but rather avoids the imperfection that the paper offers, a technique that is full of sensitivity.L'ésser humà is the greatest source of inspiration for the complexity of our thoughts and emotions. I try to capture both gestures, colors and forms in small moments of introspection that convey some feeling. They are paper characters with a trosset d'anima.
