Rob's roots trace back to the prairies and mountains of Montana, where he spent his youth immersed in the rugged outdoors—working on steel gangs, trail crews, harvesting wheat, and exploring Glacier National Park. Through his paintings, he aims to celebrate and preserve the grandeur of his native Montana.A proud alumnus of the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, Rob also served as the Director of Creative Services at Tonka Toys. Now, he dedicates his time to painting full-time from his studio in Whitefish, Montana. Rob actively participates in invitational, juried, and plein air events nationwide. His artwork graces galleries throughout Montana and is part of private, public, and corporate collections across the United States. As a member of the esteemed Montana Painters Alliance, his contributions to the art world have been recognized in publications such as Western Art Collector, The Big Sky Journal, Distinctly Montana, and The Whitefish Review.
