Raúl Campos is a Mexican figurative artist born in 1992 in the city of Querétaro. In his work, he contrasts the charge of sentimentalism and nostalgia that characterize him with a comic adaptation of the facts in which he usually presents elements out of place to create scenes that transmit philosophical messages in a classical. He began his training as an apprentice of Master Román Miranda, where for four years he acquired knowledge, technique and bases to later make the decision to abandon his university studies in order to become a full-time painter. He lived briefly in San Miguel before he decided to leave and go in search of something that would drive him in an artistic and personal sense, the destination was then Florence, Italy. "Art should be an instrument to elevate the soul." Raúl currently lives in Mexico, where in addition to painting, he has become a great promoter of art among young people, founding with other artists a solid artistic community that enjoys life and art collectively.
