Creating the classic shapes and markings from his family’s long lineage of potters, Santa Clara artist Jerome Ebelacker is a son of Richard Ebelacker, a grandson of Virginia Ebelacker and a great-grandson of Margaret Tafoya, all major contributors to the illustrious history of Santa Clara pottery. His work is inspired by the designs of his family and the Pueblo. He is a Santa Fe Indian Market award winner and his work can be found in museums and books on Santa Clara pottery.
