Over 25 years ago, Mark Yale Harris decided it was time to develop his artistic interests into a full-time profession. A successful career in sustainable urban development was put aside to pursue sculpting flowing and linear figurative and wildlife art. Santa Fe became Harris’ home in the late 1990s— inspired by the geography of the region, he began feverishly creating art. Unlike most sculptors who begin with wax, Mark carves stone, bringing marble, limestone & alabaster to life. His limited edition bronze works are meticulously patinaed to reflect those stones. Mr. Harris’ sculptures have been admired in 200+ exhibitions, international shows and museums. ARTWORKInternational Press has published two books about Mark as part of their Acclaimed Artist Series.
