Whether depicting the strength and motion of wildlife, portraying the human form, or interpreting lush landscapes and energetic cityscapes, Bruce Marion’s lyrical coloration and dramatic use of light and shadow seems to illuminate his subjects from their souls. In all of his work, Marion strives to reflect the inner light playing against the exterior reality, delving into the intersection of inner versus outer spaces.Classically trained, Marion’s career has been showcased in numerous international publications and honored in juried shows; his work is collected globally. He holds a BFA from the prestigious Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, studying under world-renowned artist Pat Nagel, and Lorser Feitelson, the father of Post-Surrealism.
