Pedro De Armas is a member of a second family generation that is dedicated to the visual arts, having graduated in 1994 from the National School of Fine Arts (ENA) in Havana, Cuba. He has always been very interested and has maintained a consistent work exploring the possibilities and techniques offered by the visual arts; This includes oil, watercolor, drawing, installations and sculpture among others. Pedro settled in South West Florida in 2010, making this region the main area for artistic creation, taking the landscape in the painting as the central theme in his work and giving greater importance to the urban landscape, expressing an attraction for architecture. Discovering details and different ways of showing the selected cities, gives each place representation in his paintings great realism. In each work, Pedro finds the beauty of transitional painting, mixed with new ideas and modern concepts, that gives great pleasure when finishing the work. Pedro’s artistic work has been exhibited in many countries, including Cuba, the United States, Holland, Germany, Spain, Italy, and Mexico, among others.
