Growing up in central Florida, as an elementary student, I was always drawn to anything that led me to explore being creative. I was fortunate to have teachers in my adolescent years that encouraged me to tap into that raw curiosity and who helped me develop a foundation of art and painting skills. I went to college at Troy University in Troy, AL and graduated with a degree in art and marketing with the intention of working in graphic design. My path, however, took me in a different direction and away from the artistic career I thought I would secure and leaned towards interior decorating and soft furnishings. Over time, I found myself gravitating back to painting as I was being commissioned to create wall art for local clients in the form of abstract expressionism. I love the freedom of abstract painting and working through the puzzle-like process of producing a balanced yet visually appealing painting. I enjoy creating pieces that reflect the client's interior color palette and personality. There is nothing better than seeing the joy that art can bring to a person and their home! Currently, my husband and I live in Montgomery, Alabama and have three children.
