Rachel Carroll has been a practicing artist for over 20 years. An expressionist and an environmentalist painter Rachel prefers to paint about locations that are surviving rather than focus on an areas demise. She has a Masters of Fine Arts from NSW University, COFA A career travelling to over 8 locations on the Murray Darling River System and to the Daintree three times. Each journey culminated in an exhibition about the region in 30 artworks. Having exhibited in Australia and Scotland, Rachel now resides on the Northern Beaches in Sydney.Most recently Rachel has been made a member of the Australian Watercolour Institiute, the Royal Art Society, and the Tree Veneration Society. In 2022 Rachel was a finalist in the Gosford Art Prize.
