A native Floridian, Victor grew up against a backdrop ofpalm trees, beautiful beaches and sunbathers in the FloridaPanhandle. These influences surface in his paintings throughvibrant colors, tropical icons and a good measure of whimsyin an abstract style. In 1987, he moved to Orlando where sun,fun and energy infused his work.Ever inspired by travel–adventurous patterns, textures andbold, bright colors infuse his work while varied mark-makingand a sundry of lines drive his energetic, colorful paintings.The work is busy but also provides a quiet space to relaxthe eye. If the viewer loses their way in exploring the diversepaths of images and shapes, thanks to a background ingraphic design, Victor includes a grid to establish controland harmony, guiding the viewer through the journey. Hisabstract paintings feel like a day at the Carnival or Dance,while others have you Day Dreaming, calming and relaxing.Victor strives to create images that make him happy andbrings joy to the viewer.His list of accomplishments are many including a 15-foot x85-foot mosaic floor for Orlando International Airport’s “A”Terminal, designed by Victor and installed by Italian mastersof natural stone and glazed enamel, and a wall installation forOrlando International Airport “C” Terminal. Victor’s paintingsare included in corporate and museum collections throughoutthe South and he’s had numerous solo exhibitions. His careerpath in Orlando includes 9 years as Senior Art Director forSea World and 20 years as Senior Art Director TupperwareBrands.
