Kristian Gosar has been drawing, painting and creating since a very early age. Gifted with sensitivity and the ability to work with his hands, Kris has opened himself up to expressing himself through painting, drawing and architecture. Digging deeper into the soul of a person, place or thing and expressing that visually is his goal. Kris’s formal training began at Adams State College under Steve Quiller and Roger Williams. After studying architecture and environmental design at CU Boulder, Kris then moved on to Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA to be schooled traditionally by master artists in drawing, painting, and design. Kris graduated with honors from Art Center in graphic design and illustration where he was especially inspired by his painting instructor, Dan McCaw. He has also studied under David Leffell at Andreeva Portrait Academy. Kris teaches drawing and painting at Adams State College inspiring other artists to develop a strong foundation in drawing. He has also allowed himself to work in designing and building many retail businesses along with custom homes. Kris also finds himself getting involved in custom car design and has been involved in many top awarded builds. Refreshingly honest, Kris does not feel the need to limit his creativity to any one skill, as he believes the language of a good design and soulful creativity lay the foundation to all of the arts. Gosar’s work is without distractions, allowing the viewer to peer into the infinite realm and beyond.
