Jennifer Rivera is an abstract expressionist painter who works primarily with acrylics on canvas. Known for edgy and emotionally evocative abstract paintings, she often employs the use of texture, bold strokes, and rich colors in her work. Rivera's work has appeared in numerous publications, and she was named one of Kansas City's top five visual artists in KC Magazine in 2010 and 2011. Her works have been purchased by collectors from across the country and hang in both private and corporate collections. Rivera's work appears as the cover-art for the book This Ecstasy They Call Damnation by Israel Wasserstein, published by Woodley Press.
