My work reflects how connection with place enhances equanimity in our daily lives. I conceptualize new work for quite some time. I engage with the medium to fulfill a goal, which is constantly challenged by change. There lies the beauty of the creative process. When a work is completed, I am calm, satisfied. When the work speaks others, I am deeply grateful. I studied Fine Arts in college, and Traditional Chinese Medicine in graduate school. Both arts inform one another, and continue to evolve with time. I feel privileged to have both practices feed my life, and the ability to share with the lives of others.
