Joni Falk realist painter of still life and landscapes, has lived in Phoenix, Arizona since 1960. She grew up in Chicago, and is a graduate of Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It was the Southwest culture and history that provided the ingredients that compelled her to seek a full-time career in the field of art. Joni has become well known throughout the United States and Canada for her diversity of Subject from Traditional Floral still life’s, Western still life’s, Pueblo or Plains Indian Landscapes and Indian Figures. Joni’s many exhibitions include showings at The National Museum of Wildlife Art in Jackson, Wyoming, the Albuquerque Museum, Albuquerque, New Mexico, Cheyenne’s Old West Museum, The Tucson Museum of Art, Tucson, Arizona, the Desert Caballeros Museum in Wickenburg, Arizona, the McAllen Museum, McAllen, Texas and the Phippen Museum, Prescott, Arizona.
