The work I create presents a contemporary investigation of space and light represented through shapes and colors. I explore their relationships by collaging geometric shapes into abstract or disrupted spaces. The work is obsessively flat, a primary cause of tension as the work is influenced by regional colors and landscapes, which add a second and perpetual conflict through the knowledge of three dimensions against it’s impossibility. Installations and murals have the opportunity to have a much greater inviting dialogue with its surrounding architecture, landscape and community.
