"Works inspired by places imagined, remembered, lived."Edward Herbeck's artwork is a fine collection of contemporary images inspired by nature. Every piece is masterfully created using traditional methods. All his drawings, paintings, stone/plate lithographs and copperplate etchings are created using fine art archival standards. Edward's inspiration is the "Earth" in all of God's splendor and beauty. Herbeck's artwork is taken from places that he has lived, seen, and imagined. His 2D fine art collection of contemporary drawings, paintings, stone/plate lithographs, copperplate etchings, and original prints are all inspired from the landscapes and outlooks of nature. Most of his work is influenced by the vast plains and quiet areas of the midwest, known as "America's Heartland." Herbeck draws and paints for distance and monumentality, looking to capture the truth of being small and humble in relation to the expanse and greatness of God's creation. Edward creates his work to glorify the One who gave him the gift to paint and the greatest gift of them all - to believe.
