Joan Zygmunt's work as an artist has found its way across the United States and around the world. She was asked by the Governor of Montana to create a special piece for the permanent collection of the White House. It is also slated for a future display in the Smithsonian. Her award winning work has been exhibited in shows such as Birds in Art, Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum, Sculpture in the Park and A Celebration of Birds, at the North American Ornithological Conference. In addition to her exquisite bird sculptures, Joan has created a series of stunning bronze vessels, each unique in form and flowing design. Her sculpture expresses a harmonious and graceful quality. It is the culmination of lifelong experiences of the natural world and the expression of those experiences in three dimensional form.
