Delton Demarest has been working in the freelance industry for 6 years. Recent and past clients include Red Bull, Atmosphere of Rhymesayers Entertainment, Vitamin Water, Mountain Dew, Pacifico, Tuff Shed, Federal Customs Building Denver, Brothers BBQ, GBs Fish n Chips, and numerous other local and national clients. He holds a BFA from the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design where graduated with honors Summa Cumme Laude in 2005. He received foundational training from the Pratt Institute with a focus in Illustration in 2001. Demarest is an active participant in Plein Air in Denver, including the Colorado Plein Air Festival 2007-2013, and have had select showings with Abend Gallery, Leon Gallery, and Center for the Arts Evergreen.As a muralist, Demarest has worked on numerous large scale exterior murals, a short listing of these works are: the "Imagine Mural" located on the exterior of the Federal Customs House he apprenticed to Darrel Anderson, The Sun Valley Youth Center mural, located on 12th and Decatur, and the Rude Rec Center Mural interior mural that accompanies the large community pool. Through continuous field and observational study Demarest’s hope is to lend to his illustration and mural skills by enhancing his knowledge and ability to translate both from his imagination and from the natural world.
