BiographyI was born an raised till my teenage years in upstate New York. My family and I then moved west to Arizona. My interest in art was always apparent. I remember drawing at the age of 5. After high school, I studied art at ASU. My emphasis was in painting but I also enjoy many other types of mediums. I feel like I am a gypsy at heart and have moved to other cities exploring the art scenes. As well as being a professional artist for the past 20 years I am passionate about giving back and helping others. I teach art and community to those who suffer from schizophrenia and other behavioral health diagnoses. I hope I inspire them and I know that inspire me creatively and to be a better human. Artist StatementMy art is to inspire those who view my work to look more carefully at the world around them. I label my art "Bubblegum Pop". The infusion of internet and pop social media has inspired my imagery. I believe art should make a fun satyrical statement regarding social influences, in particular with gender roles, pop culture, and fashion.
