Sandra Ramos was born in Havana in October of 1969, where she studied Fine Arts graduating of the Higher Institute of Arts of Cuba in 1993. Her works that integrate multiplicity of techniques as installation, painting, engraving and drawing, are based on the recovery of a social and individual memory, linked to the difficulties of the daily life in Cuba and to subjects as solitude, emigration, and the political manipulation of the history and the memory. Recently she has had personal exhibitions in: Villa Manuela Gallery.
